About the Internship

Training Hours:

40hours per week

On-Site Training, Steward’s primary activities :

planting, cultivating and harvesting fruits and vegetables

Trainee’s role is to get accustomed to the daily work routine and interact and communicate with his fellow long term work team.
Learning objectives are to become facile with the daily routines, and competent at field preparation, harvesting, planting and cultivating tasks.

Climate and Location Description

summer 60-90 averages, winter 30-75

Proximity to nearest town/city: Del Mar 5mi, San Diego 25 mi.

We are 5 miles from the ocean 25 miles from down town San Diego.

Compensation :

$10 /hour

House is shared with other interns/stewards
Kitchen is a separate building as are bath house and toilet.
Lodging is Simple, with basic amenities (heat, indoor bathroom.
