The farm is diverse and has lots of growth ahead. it is a small business that produces many products and can add even more. It is a woman owned and operated business, operating with volunteer members to support the work load. It is a grade A dairy providing raw food to its members and the community.

Bees/Honey, Berries, Dairy, Pork/Swine, Poultry, Sheep, Tree fruits, Vegetables


About the Internship

Training Hours:

32-40 hours a week on an average

Training Expectations :

Watch, learn, and participate

On-Site Training, Steward’s primary activities :

There is cheese making/ training once a week. milking cows daily, butter and cream making, marketing and transporting of products, land and grazing management, preparation of food, irrigation skills, growing crops,

Climate and Location Description

It is rural, about 4 miles from town and 45 minutes from Bend a larger community. Four seasons, winter, spring, summer, and fall. Some snow.

Compensation :

between 200-500, cabin or room, Free, daily food
