There are lots of other Amish farms within an hour of our farm that grow organic produce and livestock

Primary Production :

Vegetables, Herbs, Berries, Grain, Cattle, Pork

About the Internship

Training Hours:

45hr-50hr. average

Training Expectations :

Trainees will be doing manual labor in the fields and greenhouses, as well as helping at the farmers market

On-Site Training, Steward’s primary activities :

Planting and harvesting in the fields and greenhouses. Weeding, transplanting, packing produce in the field

Climate and Location Description

The Spring and Fall the weather is very nice usually, the summer is more hot and humid.

Compensation :

$8/hour, House is on the farm, local transport & internet

Accommodations and amenities provided :

There is a 4 bedroom house on the farm with free internet

Preferred start date :

April 15th

Preferred length of internship :

Nov.28th
