Was the MESA information you received in your home country clear? Was the description of your training site accurate? What more would you have liked MESA to send you before you left you home country? The communication was done well, very accurate, clear, timely and very helpful
If you worked with a Program Representative in your home country, was he/she helpful? Is there anything more the Representative could have done to help you complete your application or to better understand MESA's program? My country Program representative was always helpful and supported my application on Mesa program
Any problems with housing, electricity, heat, phone, driver's license, bank account, transportation? Other problems?I have no problem with housing for its so close to my host placement and i opened a bank account successfully. I am in the process of acquiring a phone and a calling number. I have a public transport card which i am using to travel around.
Describe the training you have received since getting to your placement site. What have you learned so far? Have you attended any special training, workshops, conferences, classes, etc.?For the last about one and half months i have learned much from my host. My interest has been on retail marketing of organic produce and so far i have learned through hands on training and through videos on organic production and marketing in the Northern USA and the Non- Gmo movement and labeling of produce. Its interesting to see how many people are aware of importance of organic farming and healthy eating habits. There are also wide variety of organic food in display from local California organic farmers. Learning on value added products on display and homeopathic section on wide range of organic healing products and supplements
Have you been involved in an cultural activities since your arrival? (examples : farmers' workshop, library event, soccer games, family activities, etc)No I have not been involved
Any suggestions to improve MESA's program?Thank you Mesa for the support to me and other stewards and the opportunity to train.
