| Was the MESA information you received in your home country clear? Was the description of your training site accurate? What more would you have liked MESA to send you before you left you home country? | All the information I received concerning the program was/is good and accurate. However, just on the air travel itinerary ticket, I would like to have received more information.. whether I was supposed to pay a one-way ticket or double return ticket. |

| Describe the training you have received since getting to your placement site. What have you learned so far? Have you attended any special training, workshops, conferences, classes, etc.? | I have had a good time on the farm so far. I have engaged in various activities on and outside the farm. We have gone to various farmers markets at Sacramento and Vacaville. I have learned how to make cheese, how to make Kombucha drink, how to vaccinate animals, we have planted for the season, I know how to do data entry on-farm phone applications that make inventory recording easier. I have daily chores which include milking the goats, watering the plants and flowers, collecting the eggs, feeding the animals. I have gone for wine tasting at Winters, Berryessa Gap. I cycle around during my off days. I have cycled to Dixon town 8 miles (people think it's impossible as it's far) I have made new friends at the nearest church, where they have invited me to go to Mexico with them for missionary activity for 5days on the month of July. Basically been here is the best thing, my host supports what I do. |
| Have you been involved in an cultural activities since your arrival? (examples : farmers' workshop, library event, soccer games, family activities, etc) | Yes, I have been involved in cultural activities. we prepared Kenyan and Haiti delicacies at the farm. |
| Any suggestions to improve MESA's program? | What MESA is doing is really good, can't think of much to add. Is it possible to consider the following: 1. Making it possible for all MESA stewards to meet up physically at least once, it would be much better as it will promote cohesion and integration. |
