Was the MESA information you received in your home country clear? Was the description of your training site accurate? What more would you have liked MESA to send you before you left you home country?The information was very clear
If you worked with a Program Representative in your home country, was he/she helpful? Is there anything more the Representative could have done to help you complete your application or to better understand MESA's program?Sara Elizabeth Rosenberg( former Peace Corp Volunteer in Ghana) really assisted me because of that it wasn't much of a problem for me in the form completion.
Any problems with housing, electricity, heat, phone, driver's license, bank account, transportation? Other problems?Well, I wish I could obtain a driver"s license but I am told it would be be easier to get one if I had brought my license from Ghana my native country.
Describe the training you have received since getting to your placement site. What have you learned so far? Have you attended any special training, workshops, conferences, classes, etc.?I have joined trainees that come to singing on several occasions to have a field tour and hands-on training here at the singing frogs farm. I have learned how to prepare beds to receive transplant and how to transplant seedlings to ensure good or firm root-soil contact. I have learned how to plant seeds in the seeding tray and to water it to ensure good germination. I have learned how to do weed through crops and how to the different ways of harvesting variety of vegetables. etc.
Have you been involved in an cultural activities since your arrival? (examples : farmers' workshop, library event, soccer games, family activities, etc)Yes,I have involved in workshops at my host farm- Singing Frogs Farm.
Any suggestions to improve MESA's program?Well, I am still studying your organization so I may have some suggestions in future.
