1. Describe the Trainee/Steward’s role for this phase |
Site Intern at a 12 acre visitor center and educational institution. Supporting our organic garden, micro greens program, tours, workshops and general site maintenance. |
2. Specific goals and objectives for this phase |
* Work with other interns to develop our small permaculture garden area to gain higher yield in order to supply interns and fall fundraiser produce. |
3. Primary Supervisor’s qualifications |
Adam Goldberg, Program Manager. Adam has a MA in International Education and has extensive experience managing internship and service-learning programs for young adults. |
4. What plans are in place for the Trainee/Steward to participate in cultural activities while in the United States? |
regular community meals, visits to other environmental non-profits, local town, redwoods, and wineries. |

*Developing a functional, permaculture garden |
