Stewards are directly supervised by the owners Harry or Jackie Hoch. Harry and Jackie are on the farm full time and available to the stewards at all times. |
4. What plans are in place for the Trainee/Steward to participate in cultural activities while in the United States? |
We try to attend three summer tours or field days on other local farms. LaCrosse Riverfest( 4th of July) LaCrosse Oktoberfest and LaCrescent Apple Festival. Local music events and sports. Our crew often participates in a five kilometer run in LaCrescent. |

General farm overview |

One on one meeting with staff and intro to the work and day to day operation of the farm |

We try to have a formal meeting one-on-one with each steward around mid season before apple harvest begins. Stewards are directly supervised by the owners Harry or Jackie Hoch. Harry and Jackie are on the farm full time and available to the stewards at all times. |
