About the Placement:

Detailed Placement Description

100% grass fed dairy, internationally renowned cheese making, rotational grazing.

Primary Production :

Cattle, Dairy, Pork/Swine


About the Internship:

Training Hours:

35-40 hours/week

Training Expectations :

Working daily with owners and senior staff, five day work week, floating days off.

On-Site Training, Steward’s primary activities :

Milking cows, making cheese, pasture management,
rotational grazing, fencing and water system extension and maintenance, swine feeding,.cheese making, charcuterie production, wood-fired baking, foraging, etc.

Climate and Location Description

Suburban location, temperate climate, no local transportation.

Compensation :

Free, daily food

Accommodations and amenities provided :

Own room in shared modern house on the farm. High speed wifi, heat, hot water, ventilation (no air conditioning). Lunch with dairy staff daily, breakfast and dinner with other interns. Weekly allowance at farm store, plus access to produce from the kitchen garden.
