About the Placement:
Detailed Placement Description
We live in a community setting, where our family interacts closely with farm interns, as well as farm employees, who live both offsite and onsite. Our place is ideal for someone interested in community living and someone who wants to see the process of food production from beginning to end; growing the animals, as well as marketing and selling the final products. We also run 2 CSA programs on farm, one to market our own products and one which involves the distribution of products from local and neighboring farms in a full diet CSA.

Climate and Location Description
rural location, the Willamette Valley is known for its wet winters and heavy rainfall.

Accommodations and amenities provided :
Interns live in shared room or rustic creek house cabin, when available. Another cob house is on site ideal for couples or longer stay interns, currently unavailable. Our kitchen is in the main house and communal with all the interns and family, internet is available in house, office, intern room, and cob house. We are located about 30 minutes from the closest large town and 15 minute drive from the closest grocery store.
